Dr. Blevins has served as President of Graham Bible College since November of 1997, and is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the college, under the authority of the Board of Directors. He serves as a liaison between the College community and the Board of Directors, as well as an ambassador for the College to the entire area. His efforts have helped to create a highly personal learning environment for our exceptional students and faculty. Dr. Blevins completed his undergraduate work at Graham with a major in Bible and a minor in Christian Education. His graduate studies were completed at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi, where he was awarded the degrees of Master of Divinity, Master of Christian Education, and Master of Sacred Theology with a major in Systematics. Dr. Blevins went on to earn his Doctor of Ministry degree from Evangel Christian University in Monroe, Louisiana. Additional postgraduate work was done at Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and in Great Britain and Israel with Westminster Theological Seminary. His career as an educator includes a professorship at Graham Bible College and an adjunct professorship at Bellhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. His pastoral ministry spans more than fourteen years, and includes two congregations in Mississippi as well as responsibilities in the Tri-Cities area. Dr. Blevins is a native of East Tennessee, and is the son of Denver L. Blevins and the late Ann T. Blevins of Bristol. He is married to the former Carlen R. Davis, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Clinton H. Davis of Coral Gables, Florida. Dr. and Mrs. Blevins have four sons. |
