The year was 1951 and American G.I.'s were flocking to classrooms to continue their education which had been interrupted by the war. Graham recognized the potential in these young men and women who could carry on the work which God had begun in this region of the Southeast. Graham Bible College was established as an institution which would prepare students for Christian service. Through the years the college has stood solidly on the truth of the Bible as God's Holy Word. To honor the memory of its founder, the school has never deviated from its original doctrinal statement and philosophy of education.
The school which Dan Graham began in 1951 still offers students an excellent education in the Bible. Future students will continue to be taught Biblical principles as understood and expounded by Preacher Graham. Now alumni are pursuing the vision of that man whom God used mightily in our region. The motto of Graham Bible College -- "Training Volunteers for Christ" -- is an apt description of the school.
